About Bible Saga

Who we are and how we tell these stories

Bible Saga is an app that tells the great stories of the Bible as short cinematic series, with the passage behind every episode, a five-minute daily ritual and guided prayer. It is made by Agape Group GmbH, Clarahofweg 25, 4058 Basel, Switzerland. You can write to us at [email protected].

We are not a church and we do not replace one. We make it easier to spend a few minutes a day inside Scripture, and to come back the next day.

Our editorial standards

1. Scripture is quoted, never paraphrased

Every Bible verse on this site and in the app is taken word for word from a public-domain translation: the World English Bible, the King James Version or the Berean Standard Bible in English, the Douay-Rheims for Catholic readers, and a public-domain Bible for each other language. On this website every quotation is pulled automatically from the same Bible files the app uses, so a verse cannot be typed wrong; a reference that does not exist stops the site from being published.

2. What the text says comes first

Articles separate three things clearly: what the passage says, what it most likely meant to its first readers, and how Christians have applied it since. Where Christian traditions read a passage differently, we say so instead of choosing for you.

3. We are open about AI

The episodes are built from the biblical text; their images, voices and animation are generated with AI video tools. Articles on this site are researched and drafted with the help of AI and then checked by our team against Scripture and the sources we cite. We never invent quotations, statistics or experts.

4. Sources you can check

Historical and background claims link to their sources. When a claim is uncertain, the article says it is uncertain.

5. Corrections

Found a mistake, or a passage you think we have misread? Write to [email protected]. We correct errors promptly and show the date of the last update on every article.

Independence

Bible Saga is independent and funded by its subscribers: $49.99 a year or $5.99 a week in the United States. We do not sell advertising and we do not sell personal data. Articles recommend our own series because that is what we make; we tell you when a link leads to the app.
